About

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Barbara, advised by Professors Francesco Bullo and Jason R. Marden. My research sits at the intersection of control theory, operations research, and optimization with a focus on resource allocation problems in stochastic systems. Current projects include optimization of robotic patrol routes and optimal control for industrial refrigeration facilities.

Before UCSB, I earned an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, where I worked on observability analysis for power distribution systems. I hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Between my M.S. and Ph.D., I spent three years at GE Global Research, working in the Controls and Optimization team on Blackhawk and Apache engine controls. I have also interned at SpaceX and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

I am currently seeking full-time positions in industry in areas such as controls, state estimation, modeling, and simulation.
